Outstanding speakers from 6 countries will unveil innovative approaches in architecture, landscape design, regional development and lighting design, promotion of communal initiatives, all of which via sharing knowledge on award winning projects.

SHARE Skopje 2019, International Architecture and Engineering Forum will take place at the Filharmonija Skopje and will gather over 250 architects, landscape architects, designers, lighting designers, engineers, urbanists, real estate developers and from public institutions, architecture, and design students, companies with innovative solutions in the construction field, other professionals related to architecture field.

The International Architecture and Engineering Forum is organized ABplus events and PRO event Association in collaboration with the Association of Architects of Macedonia. Mr. Arch. Martin Panovski, the President of Association of Architects of Macedonia, will lead the forum conferences.

This edition of SHARE Skopje 2019 will have 3 pannels: Skopje Tomorrow – Large Scale Projects, Facades, Interior Architecture and Special Guest lecture.

Special Guest, Fernando MENIS, Founder, Menis Arquitectos from SPAIN will hold a special presentation regarding one of his most extraordinary projects „CKK Jordanki: Backstage”.

SHARE Skopje 2019 will gather over 25 international and national speakers to celebrate architectural excellence through their most recent internationally acclaimed. Until now, international speakers from countries like Turkey, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Greece, Spain, Romania confirmed their presence to SHARE Skopje 2019.

 

Highlights SHARE Skopje 2019

Special Guest Architect – Fernando MENIS (Spain) – Founder at Menis Arquitectos

Architect, Professor at the European University of Canarias and Chairman of the Laboratory for Innovation in Architecture, Design and Advanced Tourism of Tenerife, he also participates as a jury member, director of workshops, lecturer at Harvard, Columbia New York, ESA Paris, TU Berlin, Akbild Vienna and speaker in Architecture Festivals and conferences in Switzerland, Australia, Singapore, South Africa, Croatia, Italy, Colombia, India, etc. Several times awarded in the Regional Awards for Architecture in The Canary Islands, as well as National and international winner and finalist in the FAD and WAF Awards (winner of two categories in 2012).

 

Honorary Guest Architect – Mimoza Nesterova TOMIĆ (Macedonia) – former Director of City Institute for Planning in Skopje – Mimoza Nestorova-Tomić is a Macedonian architect, planner and urban designer, who played a significant role in the masterplan and reconstruction of Skopje after the 1963 earthquake.

Arch. Mark SUTTON VANE (UK) – Principal at SUTTON VANE ASSOCIATES, one of the top 10 lighting designers worldwide, He designs lighting for retail, residential, commercial, historic, museum, hotel, and leisure projects.

Arch. Rena SAKELLARIDOU (Greece) – Founding Partner SPARCH, she studied architecture in Thessaloniki, (Dipl. Arch AUTh), in Vancouver (MArch UBC) and in London (PH. D Bartlett School of Architecture and Planning UCL). She is Professor of Architectural Design at the School of Architecture AUTh. SPARCH has been awarded 15 international and national design awards. Among them: Commendation by the AR MIPIM Future Project Awards 2017, High Commendation by the World Architecture Festival 2008.

 

Arch. Kerem YAZGAN (Turkey) – Founded in 2003 by Kerem Yazgan and Begüm Yazgan, both PhD. Architects, Yazgan Design Architecture Inc. is an architectural, interior, landscape and graphic design and construction firm based in Ankara, Turkey. With an experienced staff of 45 architects, landscape designers, technical draftsmen, graphic designers and IT experts, the company has signed on to many architectural, interior design and landscape projects. In the past 15 years, Yazgan Design Architecture has been published in 19 countries and has been awarded with 71 national and international design awards. With over 6.000.000 square meters in total projects located in both Turkey and a number of other countries, the portfolio of Yazgan Design Architecture continues to grow and diversify.

 

Arch. Judith van der POEL (The Netherlands) – Chief Landscape Architect at Niek Roozen. Niek Roozen bv landscape architects was founded in 1982. As a Dutch landscape design bureau that has been working for over 30 years both in the Netherlands and abroad, we have developed ourselves as specialists in landscaping en city green planning. Important themes that serve as the focus of our projects are the qualities of the existing landscape and appreciating the locale culture. We design green plans for cities always with the Green City Philosophy as the starting point: a philosophy we came up with for the first time during the Floriade 2002.

 

Paolo Brescia (Italy) – Partner at OBR (Open Building Research). The team of OBR develops its experimental line through the participation in projects concerning public-private social programs, promoting – through architecture – the sense of community and the individual identities. Today OBR is group open to different multidisciplinary contributions, cooperating with different universities, such as Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, Aalto University, Academy of Architecture of Mumbai and Mimar Sinan Fine Art University.

Bujar Mucha (Macedonia) – Part-Owner and Technical manager of the architecture design studio “Megaron Engineering”. Mr. Mucha is experienced architect and project manager with more than 20 years of experience dealing with all aspects of preparation of preliminary architectural exterior and interior designs for various types of infrastructure objects, residential and business buildings.

Maja Tasevska – (Macedonia) – Experienced Architect with a demonstrated history of working in the architecture & planning industry. DSC DESIGN Ltd. is an award-winning architectural and consulting firm and exists as a company with private ownership since June 1996.
